The breakfast was fantastic. Food comes right from the farm. Everything was ftesh. Prices were very reasonable and service was very good. This is a must stop when you're in the area.

Breakfast sent from the heavens! We all loved what we ordered. Without a doubt have to suggest the breakfast tacos. The homemade corn tortillas made the dish spectacular. Stop by and support this business, they definitely deserve it. You will be pleased……

Great atmosphere and delicious homemade food. Offers a variety of menu items not usually found in your typical restaurant. If your like me and tired of the same ole same menu items I would definitely give it a try and even if your not, the farm raised bacon and homemade biscuits with house made sausage gravy is still delicious. Day or night this is the place to try. The pizza and pasta on Friday and Saturday night hit the spot also.. I have yet to be disappointed by this place.

About us

We are a small family farm that raises Meishan and Mangalista hogs, as well as Katahdin sheep for this cafe. Our tiny farm of 40 acres is located 20 miles east of Leslie. There our hogs roam about ten acres of fenced forest and are fed a diet of wheat, corn, distillers grain and grass clippings. We choose these two heritage breeds of hogs due to their more docile nature and their ability to thrive off of a higher fiber diet.
Katahdin sheep are a hair breed of sheep, meaning they do not require shearing. They are also very good mother's with good parasite resistance.
Our plan is to supply the cafe with 100% Crooked Gate Farm raised pork and lamb by next year.
When we are not at the cafe we are on the farm tending the stock.
